Growing a Book

At first I resisted the Revision Smack Down over at Jolie and Holly's blogs (and truthfully, I'm not revising but am doing a first draft but I never could follow the rules). But I need goals. So in order for my current WIP to bloom as beautifully as this eggplant blossom

in the pot on my back porch, I've got to pound out the words.

Ten thousand this week. Think I can do it?!

    I have the same goal this week. It's a rewrite, so I *think* it will be easier this time around. I'm taking the revision workshop with Linda Sue Park in L.A., so I need to shape it up fast!
