The weather in Seattle is supposed to be in the 90s this weekend-- news which sent us scurrying north to the cool sea air of Shangri-Lar.

On the way, we went through a thunder and lightning storm and here was the final punctuation mark to the wild weather:
I took this from a moving car so it's not the greatest shot and what you can't see is that there was a double rainbow.
The rainbow was a sign of promise to Noah and it's a sign of promise to you, too: check back here on Monday for an interview with my hero. Hint: my favorite book of hers features an orphan raised by priests, colorful Medieval oaths and a bonesetter.
