Thanks to a facebook post by Cynthia Lord, Mary and I have learned that Nubs: The True Story of a Mutt, a Marine and a Miracle has won the 2012 Wyoming Buckaroo Award! Knowing these awards are voted on by kid readers makes them doubly rewarding.
